THE SUMMER 2009 COLLECTION

"Long time no see" Grammatically incorrect but very appropriate.

For me, so far this year has been the most bizarre and intriguing one in a long while. A string of strange incidents and life-altering episodes. Nothing to do with art . . . well, in a way, everything to do with art. I cannot separate the artist from the person, nor do I want to. What happens to me at a personal level affects whatever I do at whatever other level, I don't think I would have it any other way.

At any rate, it would take me a full week of lengthy posts to explain all that weird stuff, and perhaps one day I would, for now, however, I can't afford to waste any more precious time lingering over my self-inflicted wounds, trials and tribulations.

If you really want to know, just buy me a cold, carbonated beverage next time you see me and I'll tell you all about it.

You Might Be Wondering Why I've Gathered You All Here Today . . .
. . . Well, wonder no longer!

This year's batch of books started popping up earlier this Spring with great volumes by Shane Glines, Pascal Campion, Mathieu Reynés, among others, now we continue the second leg of our trip with a bevy of brand new beauties from old Brandstudio Press alumni and some old friends whose books I'm honored to have now in our publishing roster.

Keep in mind that most of these books are fresh off the printing press and on their way to our offices, here in New York City and California as well, most of them will be making their long awaited debut at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con International.

So feel free to place your order with the certainty that your books will be shipped immediately after arriving at our warehouse. Last year was really hectic but we are way more organized and there won't be any lengthy delays whatsoever. Obviously, some books are more popular than others so don't wait too long or else you'll miss out.

Have a wonderful summer and I'll be seeing you in San Diego!

Now, without further interruptions, here's this summer's line up, in no particular order. More preview pages to follow so check this space often.

whoa... this is too much! love it!! so if we order in advance of SDCC, do you think they would ship and be in our hands before the show? ...or do i wait to buy AT the show for artist signatures/sketches/etc...

Process Junkie said...

Yo! Thanks for the comments.
Hope to see some of you at the show.

Spinchick: Some of the books will be debuting at the Convention, if you are going to the show it m,akes no sense to order them online. You can buy them at the different artists tables and have them signed by the artists themselves. However, if you can't make it to San Diego go to brandstudiopress.com and place your order there before some of them sell out.

Are you coming to WWChicago this year? I really hope so if you bringing this kind of product.

This collection looks amazing! I am kind of broke right now, due to my summer vacation plans, but definitely going to buy some of these in September.

Good luck on the San Diego Comic Con, hope to visit it some day... If only it wasn't literally on the other side of the world for me :)
