THANKS!

Despite a couple of scary complications and hair-raising episodes, my wife is out of surgery and recovering nicely. Thank you all for the words of encouragement and support, they do mean a great deal to me and to my family. I'm grateful and overwhelmed by your responses (comments) here, as well as the e-mails we've received in the past month. Thank you, once again!!

I'm slowly catching up with work and other obligations, way behind on a lot of personal projects but I have a renewed optimism and I'm ready to get back on that horse.

Abrazos,
-Alberto

Alberto,

I'm so VERY glad to hear all is well, as you and your wife have been on my mind lately.
(Ok, technorati does help)

Life is so strange. Good news and bad coming so close together.

You see, a couple of hours ago I was emailed about sweet Michelle Goodridge (Mandarin Design) passing away, so was in need of your good news. I just didn't realise it until I saw your message.

I will miss her generous advice, as I'm sure a great number of bloggers and web designers around the internet will.

HUGE hugs to you and yours. Keep them close :-)

Monk, I'm just so happy for Soraya and that she has been able to recover well. I know this must be hard for you and your family but I know God will give you guys the strength and faith to get through it. You have all been in my prayers and we will see you soon!
Take care and take care of her, hermanito...

IT SURE IS ONE CRAZY ROLLERCOASTER, ISN'T IT ?

GLAD TO HEAR ALL IS WELL AND I HOPE YOU GET BACK ON THAT HORSE AND RIDE YOUR ASS OFF

JUST RECENTLY I HAD A FRIENDSHIP WITH SOMEONE THAT LASTED ALMOST 10 YEARS AND NOW DUE TO A TRANSACTION THAT HAPPENED A MONTH AGO - WE ARE NO LONGER FRIENDS. I WON'T GO INTO DETAILS HERE BUT HE SCREWED ME AND I TOLD HIS BOSS ON HIM. ON THAT SAME WEEK MY OTHER FRIEND GOT KICKED OUT OF HIS HOUSE AND IS NOW TEMPORARILY STAYING WITH ME, I WORRY THAT HE WON'T BE ABLE TO MANAGE, HE'S YOUNG AND NOT TRAINED FOR "THE REAL WORLD" AND HE CAN BARELY HOLD DOWN A MINIMUM WAGE JOB AND HAS NOTHING ELSE,ZERO

Alberto,
I am very relieved to know Soraya is doing much better. I've been holding your family at heart. I wish you the strength and time to do your art again with a renewed spirit. Please allow yourself to begin from wherever you are, for catching up can be an illusion, there just isn't enough time. As you can see your collegues will understand. Much love and health to you and your family.

Abrazos!
