Rough Times

Sorry about the prolonged absence, I've got hit with bad news soon after my return from Calgary; my wife had to undergo a somewhat common surgical procedure for something which has plagued her for some time now, while convalescing, the doctors informed us that a second, (more involved and intrusive) procedure is needed in order to avoid a possibly life-threatening condition. The second surgery has been scheduled for mid june so I will remain absent for a longer while. For those of you who know this already and have offered your prayers and support, a big THANK YOU. She's in the best of care and I'm confident things will turn out fine and by the next post she'll be on her way to a speedy recovery.

I am one of the most inept husbands on earth, relying on my wife for pretty much all the work related to running a household with 2 kids and a messy, clueless husband and the bulk of the administrative duties that goes along with raising a family and mantaining a business. The woman is the 'Rock of Gibraltar" of this family and however much I appreciate her massive contribution , it's simply not enough, who says men are stronger than women?

I will keep my commitment to attend this weekend's Philadelphia WizardCon, I gave my word to Joe with whom I'm sharing a spot in 'Artist Alley', I'll be there today (Friday, June 2nd) and tomorrow, but I won't be able to make it to the Mocca show the following week. All the outstanding book and art orders will be mailed out upon my return to NY without fail, thank you all for your patience and understanding.
